- Types of papers
Oral presentation
Oral presentations shall last ten minutes, and shall be followed by five minutes of discussion.
To make sure the Congress runs smoothly, speakers are asked to set up and test their equipment and check their timing beforehand.
Speakers will have access to a computer, projector and internet connection. Oral presentations will take place in different time slots.
Oral and poster presentations will all take place at different times.
All papers, irrespective of the means of presentation (oral, poster, e-poster or software), will receive the same accreditation (ie, "paper")
both in their final publications and in the certificates awarded to participants.
Poster presentation
Poster presentations will be on display during the session to which they are assigned.
Poster presentations will take place in different time slots. A moderator will summarise all the papers presented in each
session and will be responsible for encouraging interaction between the different authors. Authors must be available to speak with
those attending during the allotted period for the poster presentation.
Posters should be no larger than 120cm (vertical) X 80cm (horizontal). The authors themselves must set up the posters at
the start of the morning or afternoon of the assigned day.
They will be assisted by a member of staff from the host centre. Posters must be removed at the end of the session.

E-poster presentation
Participants may present their papers using their laptop computers (e-posters). This form of presentation is recommended for innovative digital material.
Participants interested in using this facility will be assigned a specific time slot and a place with an internet connection for their presentations.

both in their final publications and in the certificates awarded to participants.
Speakers may present web applications, teaching platforms, etc, in a computer-equipped classroom. These presentations will be accessible via the network.
Speakers will have access to a computer for the presenter, a projector and an internet connection.
Speakers wishing to present software will, if necessary, need to provide those attending with a username to access the content.
No software may be installed on the computers.

The organisers of the Congress allow participants to organise symposiums as part of the 5th CIDUI.
In accordance with the conditions set out below, participants may hold meetings of experts and specialists to discuss issues of common interest related to the
subject areas covered by the Congress.
Symposiums will be presented simultaneously with the other activities taking place during the three-day congress and may last in maximum four hours.
Symposium proposals must meet the following conditions:
1. There must be a coordinator.
2. There must be a team of at least four experts in the field from at least two different countries.
3. The subject must be related to the subject areas covered by the Congress.
The conclusions reached by the members of the symposium will be presented and debated in an open session during the Congress.
Members of accepted symposiums are not required to pay the fees for the Congress.
